Implementation Consultant - Remote

Job Purpose

  • Support the technical implementation of OPRA centralized monitoring projects, including client core builds and study builds
  • Ensure the quality of OPRA core and study builds, including ongoing data quality through review of data loads

Key Functions

The key functions performed by the RBQM Implementation Consultant – Level I will include, but may not be limited to the following areas:

OPRA Study Implementation

  • Support the primary Implementation Consultant with the technical implementation of OPRA centralized monitoring projects, including client core builds and study builds
  • Work with primary Implementation Consultant and the client to understand the objectives of the study, the study design, subject visits schedule and data sources
  • Work with primary Implementation Consultant, TRI Statistician, Operations Consultant and client teams to define and design Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), supporting data visualizations and data tables (DTs) required for the Central Monitoring dashboards
  • Work with primary Implementation Consultant and client data teams (DM/Data Ops) to identify the data required from the source systems to support the OPRA Central Monitoring dashboards
  • Support the primary Implementation Consultant to create the CORE table specifications for client core and study builds
  • Work with primary Implementation Consultant and the Operations Consultant to create the KRICVDT specification, which defines the KRIs, supporting visualizations and DTs required for the Central Monitoring dashboards
  • Support the primary Implementation Consultant to design the data mapping, custom calculations, row data lists and transformation rules required to support the Central Monitoring dashboards
  • Work with developers during the design and build cycle to ensure the most technically efficient and effective design is achieved to support the client requirements for the Central Monitoring dashboards
  • Support the primary Implementation Consultant to prepare test data for the developers to conduct unit testing
  • Work with developers to during the design and build cycle to verify, through exploratory testing, that the data mapping, custom calculated fields, row data lists and transformation rules meet the requirements and specifications (This will include setting up and running SQL queries.)
  • Provide feedback to developers where there are bugs and work to resolve Setup sandbox environment to support build review
  • Setup production environment for OPRA Central Monitoring
  • Process study data loads and ensure the ongoing quality of the central monitoring builds

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to take responsibility for the consistency and quality of deliverables
  • Experience of working with relational databases (eg SQL, Access) including ability to write queries to join multiple data sets to interrogate the data
  • Understanding of clinical trial data and their data structure, particularly from EDC systems
  • Ability to review clinical protocols and understand the study design and subject visit schedules
