Central Monitor Job Description
With the approval of ICH E6 (R2), and adoption by the main regulatory bodies expected to start second quarter next year, it is clear that the way in which clinical trials are going to be planned and conducted is going to change significantly next year. One of the key roles which is expected to emerge from these changes is the central monitor. Understanding the role, defining it and then finding the right people within an organisation or indeed recruiting people to that role can be a real challenge.
